Honey is a natural product rich in antioxidants, amino acids and vitamins, making it a great ally to take care of the skin and reduce wrinkles. Bee honey is one of the natural products that, thanks to its high nutritional value, can be used as a base for the production of masks and cosmetics.

For centuries it has been part of the beauty routine of millions of women around the world and, in fact, has been valued by the cosmetic industry for the many benefits it gives to the skin. Rich in amino acids, enzymes and antioxidant compounds, it is one of the best ingredients for regulating skin pH and minimizing the negative effects of free radicals.

In fact, thanks to its moisturizing, healing and repairing action, many use it as an alternative to expensive anti-wrinkle creams that rejuvenate the appearance of the face. Best of all, it can be easily combined with other ingredients, and thus enhance its properties to reduce the signs of aging.

As we know that many still do not know how to use it, next we want to share 4 interesting remedies in which you can take advantage of.

    1. Mask of honey and almond flour

The combination of the essential fatty acids of almond flour with the antioxidants of honey bees results in an anti-aging cream that can help us to soften and improve the appearance of the skin.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon of almond flour (10 g)
    • 2 tablespoons of honey of bees (50 g)
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (10 ml)

    Preparation

    1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you get a thick paste.
    2. In the evening hours, remove the makeup from the face and spread the mask to cover it with a thin layer.
    3. If you like, apply it on the neck and neckline for better results.
    4. Let it act 20 minutes and, before rinsing, make gentle circular movements to remove the dead cells.
    5. Wash with warm water and repeat its use three times a week.

    2. Mask of honey and milk

Milk moisturizing compounds combine with the anti-wrinkle action of honey to give us a rejuvenating mask for all skin types.

Both ingredients regulate the activity of the sebaceous glands, so they remove excess fat and facilitate the cleaning of the pores.

    Ingredients

    • 3 tablespoons of honey (75 g)
    • 6 tablespoons of milk (60 ml)

    Preparation

    1. Combine the honey with the milk and, after obtaining a homogeneous product, spread it on the skin.
    2. Let it act for 30 minutes and rinse with warm water.
    3. Repeat its use every two days.

    3. Mask of honey and aspirin.

Aspirin contains a substance known as salicylic acid that, after being absorbed, helps to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles on the skin.

This, added to the antioxidants of honey, counteracts the negative effects of oxidative damage and, in passing, creates a protective barrier against damage caused by the sun's rays.

    Ingredients

    • 5 aspirins
    • 3 tablespoons of honey (75 g)

    Preparation

    1. Grind the aspirins until you get a powder, and then mix it with the honey.
    2. Clean the face well and apply the treatment with gentle circular massages.
    3. Let it act for 30 minutes and rinse.
    4. Repeat its use twice a week.

    4. Honey and oatmeal mask

The classic mask of honey with oats is one of the best options to eliminate dead cells and impurities that affect the beauty of the face.

These two ingredients clean deep pores, nourish the skin and reduce the negative effects caused by free radicals and the sun.

Best of all, it is suitable for all types of skins, since it regulates the production of fat and, by the way, maintains natural moisture.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon oat flakes (10 g)
